Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Young attended Western Illinois University before going on to earn his dental degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago. During dental school, his thirst for knowledge led him to spend his free time in a specialty clinic learning about orthodontics, periodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
Post-graduation, After school, Dr. Young's pursuit of excellence continued to drive him to pursue further training, culminating in a Fellowship in the esteemed Academy of General Dentistry. With a commitment to staying at the forefront of dental advancements, Dr. Young also became a certified Invisalign Provider, Dental Laser Certified, and received his sedation certification from the prestigious Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC.
Among the many highlights in his career, one of Dr. Young's cherished experiences was serving as a clinical mentor for a prominent dental organization. In this role, he passionately shared his expertise, guiding fellow dentists in performing extractions, placing dental implants, and delivering root canal therapy to create radiant, healthy smiles.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Young, the eldest of three boys, holds his family close to his heart and cherishes the strong bond they share. His youngest brother, Daniel, has had a profound impact on Dr. Young's passion for providing exceptional care to individuals with special needs. Beyond his dental pursuits, Dr. Young finds solace in the great outdoors, relishing the beauty of nature. He loves to travel, dine out, and indulges in the arts: exploring museums, musicals, and art exhibits.
Unwavering in his support for Chicago sports, he proudly wears the badge of a diehard Chicago Bears and Bulls fan! Furthermore, Dr. Young's altruistic spirit shines brightly as he actively engages in dental mission trips and local free dental days, to offer free dental care to underserved communities, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those in need.
